Wave conditions

Bagasbas Beach has a fine sandy bottom that can be surfed at both low and high tide. Our summer season from April to July produces the most consistent, clean waves with a rideable swell.

The beach break provides both left and right handers. The waves produced are a mix of groundswells and windswells.

For experienced surfers, the best time to surf in Bagasbas happens when a northeast swell meets with offshore wind from the southwest. August to December are mostly onshore big waves for advanced and professional surfers.
