About Us
Our story
Hangloose Surfshop opened in 2007.
Since then, we have offered surf lessons and surf board rentals at Bagasbas Beach.

Hangloose Surfshop is a family-owned and operated surf school managed by Coach Karen and her mom, Tita Mabel.
Our surf coaches, mentored by local surf legends, are the heart of Hangloose Surfshop. Over the years we have participated and won in various surfing competitions across the Philippines.
For us, Hangloose is more than just a surf school. We value being an active part of our community and promoting respect for the sport and culture of surfing. The shop is a meeting spot for local surfers, international visitors in town for surfing competitions, and learners of all levels.

As locals who spend a lot of time in the water, our coaches know every beach and reef break here in Bagasbas. Our goal is to spread the positive vibes of surfing and help you develop a love for the sport and our environment.

Our coaches are qualified by the global Association of Surfing Instructors (ASI) and certified from levels 1-3.
